John Abrahams’s newly released film ‘The Diplomat’ has done a decent job in the first 3 days and now Monday is going to be a real test for the film. The film is unlikely to hold the momentum on Day 4 and as per early reports the film is going to fall flat on Day 4. Here are the Day 4 numbers and total box office collection till now.
The film collected approx 4 Crores on the Day 1 and around 4.70 Crores on the Day 2. Sunday was decent for the film too and the film collected around 4.74 Crores on Sunday. The total collection in 3 days now stands at around 13.45 Crores. Monday is looking dull as of now and the film is looking to collect approx 1 Crores on Monday.
The film is based on real-life stories and is based on the real-life Diplomat JP Singh who used to work at Islamabad Indian Embassy. The film is receiving mixed responses from Critics and audiences. The film has an independent run till EID and there are chances that the film may collect some decent money at the box office due to no big releases in the next 1-2 weeks.
Salman Khan’s Sikander is going to be released in the Next 2 weeks and till then Film can collect some money. On the other hand, Salman’s film is also showing low buzz at the box office and it would be interesting to see the Day 1 numbers of the film.
